Why are some venues missing?
Either they’re not on our radar yet, or we left them out on purpose because right-wing or sexist ideas dominate those spaces. If you have a tip on who we should add – or take out – we’d be really grateful.
Why is there an animal rights calendar but no demo calendar?
Demos would simply be too much work for us – we couldn’t keep up with all the emails. This site is clearly on the left, and we don’t have the time to check every demo and every organiser. With gigs it’s easy: we only list left-wing venues and trust their background checks.

Why are so many gigs linked to Facebook?
We’d love to get rid of Facebook ourselves, but right now the calendar still gets all its data straight from the Facebook events. As soon as we’re better connected … that’s the first thing to go!
Can I put Weird Days on my home screen?
Yes – then it opens like an app. On an iPhone or iPad: open the site in Safari, tap the share button and choose “Add to Home Screen”. On Android: open it in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and choose “Install app” or “Add to home screen”. With no connection, you’ll still see the events you loaded last.

Entweder haben wir sie nicht auf dem Schirm, oder wir lassen sie mit Absicht raus, weil in diesen Räumen rechtes oder sexistisches Gedankengut dominiert. Falls du einen Tipp hast, wen wir aufnehmen oder rausnehmen sollten, sind wir dir sehr dankbar.

Der Aufwand für Demos wäre an dieser Stelle zu groß und die Mails nicht zu bewältigen. Diese Website ist klar links angesiedelt, und uns fehlt die Zeit, jede Demo und jede Orga zu überprüfen. Bei Konzerten ist es einfach: Wir nehmen nur linke Locations auf und vertrauen auf ihren Background-Check.

Wir würden Facebook gern selbst abschaffen, aber aktuell bezieht der Kalender noch alle Daten direkt aus den Facebook-Veranstaltungen. Sobald wir besser vernetzt sind … schaffen wir das als Erstes ab!
